Allama Iqbal Week Celebration )
In the month of November, Pak Turk International Schools & Colleges celebrated the Iqbal Week in its main campus for boys at Chak Shahzad.  The Head of Department  for Urdu Language & Literature, Mr Hasnain Nazish, inaugurated the week with different speeches delivered  in different classes about the life and philosophy of the great poet, thinker and spiritual leader Muhammad Iqbal. In the first phase of the week, the entire soft boards of the class rooms, Urdu Cabinets and the notice boards of  the corridor  were decorated with the poetry and sayings of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. A picture exhibition was also arranged with the topic “Life of Allama Iqbal in Pictures”. Dozens of pictures of the great poet were displayed and the entire teaching faculty and students were invited to see the exhibition. A power point presentation about Iqbal’s life was also shown on the main TV screen of the school through out  the  week. The teachers, students, parents and visitors admired the efforts. As a part of the celebration, different competitions were also held such as soft board decoration, singing, calligraphy  and above all Bait Baazi about Iqbal’s poems.  The winners of the  competition were awarded with certificates and valuable prizes.
