On 18th
March 2008 the students of class 4 and 5th.
PakTurk Islamabad Junior School went to the Fazal Steel
Mill in Islamabad. It was a huge place with hot furnaces
to soften the Iron at 1200 C. the Iron is then processed
with chemicals and given shape. It is cooled to large
fans and transported in trucks to different places. The
students observed the process with keen interest and
asked inquisitive questions about it. After a detailed
tour of the Mill, the students were given a warm welcome
in the main office of the Mill. The in charge answered
the students questions and satisfied their curiosity.
The students were given refreshments and then
photographs were taken with interesting sights at the
Mill. The students returned to school full of excitement
and joy. |
