Abubakar Farooqi won Bronze for Pakistan

 
It was Shees Syed in 2008 and Muhammad Salman in 2009 who brought medals for Pakistan in Turkish Olympiads song cetegory. This year it is little wonder Abubakar Farooqi who mysmerized thousands of listeners with his famous song, "Gulpembe" and clichched Bronze for Pakistan.
 
Turkish Olympiad is a wonderful event where the students from more than hundred countries participate every year. Songs, Poetry, composition, drama and a couple of other categories are there. First position was clinched by Tajikistan while silver medal went to studet from Georgia. Abubakar Farooqi was amongst the youngest participants of the competitition.
 
It is worth mentioning that for the last three years the participants of song category are the students of PAKTURK ISlamabad Boys Branch. Chairman, Directors and Principal congratulated Abubakar Farooqi and his teachers for this success.
